This pastel was a demo piece that I did for Wymondham art group. The jar is like an old friend and I love painting it. As I had some very accomplished pastellists in the audience and a projector recording every mark I thought I had better choose something that would not let me down:)

Beautifully done Liz! What support is your painting on? Sandpaper, Canson etc.?
ReplyDeleteThe support is a sandpaper, Fisher 400 which is an manufactured by Tim Fisher in the UK.
ReplyDeleteI am no sure if it is available in the States, but I'm sure there are many similar papers around.
