We have had an amazing crop of Damsons this year, wich we have bottled, frozen, pickled and made into chutney. I have made sure that they have also been painted.........
Carol, Damsons are small plums which are sweet but have a slightly tart edge that makes them good to preserve in lots of different ways. You may have a different name for them in the States.
